College is back in session and while some have opted for online-only, others are going ahead with in-person classes. Texas State University seems to be holding music classes in parking lots. One student posted a viral photo of her music class being taught outside exclaiming that she is paying $25K tuition for this education. The students are spaced out according to CDC guidelines, but is this really better than virtual learning?

With average temperatures around 90 degrees in San Marcos, Texas where Texas State University is located, we hope that the school provides plenty of sunscreen for these poor students. Keeping instruments in these extreme temperatures is particularly concerning since high heat can lead to expensive repairs.

Average tuition plus room and board to Texas State University for a Texas state resident costs over $26,000, but are parking lot lessons really worth it?
